THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILLETT, WISCONSIN, DO ORDAIN that Chapter 14, INTOXICATING LIQUOR, FERMENTED MALT BEVERAGES AND OTHER BEVERAGES, is hereby amended to add the following subsection:

§ 14-17 Miscellaneous license and permit restrictions.

A.               Delinquent taxes, assessments, etc.

1.                                                                                              Premises. No initial or renewal of a license or permit issued

by the City under this chapter shall be granted for any premises for which local taxes, assessments, forfeitures, or other claims of the City are delinquent or unpaid.

2.                             Persons. No initial or renewal of a license or permit issued by

the City under this chapter shall be granted to any person:

1. Delinquent in payment of any local taxes, assessments, forfeitures or other claims owed to the City.
2. Delinquent in payment of a forfeiture resulting from a violation of any City ordinance.

3.                                                     Right to hearing. Unless as otherwise provided herein, the

provisions of W.S.A. s. 125.12(2) and (3) shall be applicable to a proceeding in which the City intends to refuse to grant, issue or renew any license or permit issued by the City due to the provisions of §14-17 Al and 2 herein.
