Chapter A42

ORBY JONES FAMILY COMPLEX POLICY

[HISTORY: Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Gillett. Amendments noted where applicable.]

§ A42-1.  Policy established.

The following policy must be followed when using the Orby Jones Family Complex:

A.     Fee schedule.

(1)    Gillett varsity sports: per signed agreement.

(2)    Other teams: as set by committee.

(3)    Tournament fee: $50 (not applicable for teams that have paid the seasonal fee).

(4)    All fees must be paid to the City Clerk/Treasurer prior to the event being held.

B.     All garbage must be picked up and placed in trash receptacles after each event.

C.     All areas used by team members, such as home plate, pitcher's mound, bases and base lines, must be filled in and compacted after each event. Diamonds must be raked and dragged after each use.

D.     All events must be scheduled with the City Clerk/Treasurer at City Hall, 920-855-2255, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

E.      Care should be taken when retrieving items from the surrounding properties.

F.      Roads around the two diamonds are for access for handicap, maintenance and emergency vehicles only. All vehicles must park in parking lot.

G.     No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the complex grounds.

H.     No sports will be allowed on Sunday prior to 12:00 noon.

I.       No tobacco products may be sold on complex grounds. No tobacco products may be used during school activities.

J.       If the complex is not cleaned up after usage, a fee of $100 will be levied.

K.     Only games that require ninety-foot base lines are allowed on Diamond 1. Practices may be held on Diamond 1 as long as sixty-foot base lines are not used.
